Lexpert Recognizes David Cuschieri and Tyson Dyck with Rising Stars Award

Torys is pleased to announce that David Cuschieri and Tyson Dyck have been recognized as Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40. Each year, this award is bestowed upon a select group of in-house and private practice lawyers who have made a notable impact as legal professionals, as business leaders and as members of the community. The 2017 awards were presented at a reception hosted on November 16 in Toronto.

David Cuschieri was promoted to partner in February 2015 after being one of the first associates hired to Torys’ Calgary office shortly after it opened in 2011. He has been an integral part in innovative transactions and is often called upon to contribute his experience on transactions and facilitate new engagements for clients. David is a participating member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, the Calgary Bar Association, and the Law Society of Alberta.

Tyson Dyck is a partner in the firm’s environmental group, where he practices extensively in the areas of energy, mining and climate change. A former Fulbright Scholar, he is recognized by Chambers as a leading lawyer in environmental law, and in Who's Who Legal as one of the world's leading climate change lawyers. Tyson has also been invited to speak at Stanford Law School, University of Toronto Law School, McGill University Law School and Osgoode Hall Law School.
