Krista Hill honoured with Rainbow Railroad’s Freedom Award

We are proud to share that Krista Hill has been awarded the 2025 Freedom Award by Rainbow Railroad, a North American charity that helps LGBTQ2S+ individuals escape persecution and violence in their home countries.

Presented at the Rainbow Railroad’s annual gala, the Freedom Award recognizes individuals whose commitment to the cause is both significant and sustained. Krista was recognized for her leadership, philanthropic dedication and unwavering advocacy for LGBTQ2S+ rights. A founding member of the firm’s LGBTQ2S+ Employee Resources Group and serving on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, Krista has been instrumental in engaging the firm—and her broader community—in support of Rainbow Railroad’s mission, including personally matching donations and championing awareness across diverse platforms.

In presenting the award, Rainbow Railroad chair Bruce Koff said Krista is a steadfast advocate for LGBTQ2S+ rights.

“Her longstanding commitment to Rainbow Railroad has helped it to create safer futures for [LGBTQ2S+] refugees,” Bruce said.
